At 25 and all the way from Vermont, Valerie was born with an atypical cleft hand, also known as a U-type cleft hand. Her right hand has only a thumb and a pinky and none of this stops her from being an amazing musician!!
Valerie plays piano, violin, and brass instruments, as a child, but piano is her greatest love. She studied Music Education at the University of New Hampshire and is now sharing her knowledge with her students.
PLAY has been able to provide Valerie a grant which will enhance her music skills with a customized instrument!
Welcome to PLAY, Valerie. Keep inspiring!
