At the age of 7, Garrison lost his left leg (above the knee) from osteosarcoma – cancer.
Since, this time he has developed skills in track & field, skiing, mountain biking and other sports. In 2013 alone, Garrison competed in 5 national track & field competitions — all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA!!
Based off his performance at the National Junior Disability Championships in 2013, this year, 2014, Garrison will represent Team USA in the International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports Federation Junior World Games in Stoke Mandeville, UK this August.
PLAY is helping Garrison compete in the UK & we couldn’t be prouder. He impacts everyone that gets in his way!!
Congrats & Welcome, Garrison!!
